**NOTICE 8/13** Playlist.com has been deleting music left and right lately, so I guess I am not going to be using it as often. I have however been putting together a playlist on youtube -- click here... the songs are in no particular order, though the first one [should be 'remember me'] kind of has a perfect overall feel for the comic, so I put that one first intentionally xD Anyway check it out from time to time, I update it fairly often. I'll leave the old playlist up just cos it's pretty to look at tho... lol


1. "Rangers" maybe we don't want to be found, maybe we don't want you tracking us down
- i like to consider this the opening song for d*s [were it a tv show LOL]
2. "It Will All Make Sense [in the morning]" is this dirt and mud or is it flesh and blood? when i reach my hands in, i don't know where i end
- like above, this would be the closing theme song :'D it really fits d*s well lol.
3. "You're The Storm" cos you’re the storm that i believe in, and all this peace has been deceiving
- while i had considered this as an opening song, rangers won out. I just put this in as sort of a filler. I wanted to put "hanging around" [youtube link] by the same band in the playlist, but playlist.com does not have it for some reason =( great song, do check it out if you read this.
4. "A Place Called Home" one day there'll be a place for us...
- basically the unhuman anthem lol.
"Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" i think of times we were together, as time went on it seemed forever
- I just like the mood of this song lol. xD No other reason really.
6. "A Common Disaster" i found myself a friend but he's crooked as a stick in water ...
- I just associate this song with d*s pretty strongly cos I listened to it a lot while writing ahah. the lyrics fit pretty well.
7. "Mess" and i don't believe in god, so i can't be saved. all alone as i've learned to be, in this mess i have made
- As you will all eventually learn, Kou is fucking emo as hell. This is his theme song, nearly word for word.
8. "Don't You Turn Your Back On Me" the only thing that's killing you is me
- The mood of this song is pretty much perfect for d*s. xD Not to mention the fucking lyrics, which are basically spot on. :'D I won't say why tho...ahah.
9. "Charlie Big Potato" i awake from blood filled dreams, washing blame from my knees ...
- Another Kou song >>; *not bother explaining lol* Parts of it could be applied to Vix, if you try really hard lol.
10. "Dancing in the Moonlight" we like our fun and we never fight, you can't dance and stay uptight
- Felt like there needed to be a picker up song somewhere in here. You can't listen to this and not get happy LOL. In my head it plays during a certain scene, but I won't say since it's a ways in xD
11. "Spit It Out" and it breaks my heart that we live this way, i know people need love
- MOOOODDddd music.
12. "Utopia" i forget who i am, when i'm with you. i'm not supposed to feel, i forget who i am, i forget ... fascist baby, utopia, utopia...
- Theme song for a chara not introduced yet, although she is rather important...
13. "Atlantic"but things can't be as they seem, i'm so far from home. this must be another dream, but my eyes are open ...
- Can't really explain why this is here without spoilers. Sorry 8D;
14. "Walk The Rain"i pound the walls with bloody hands, i curse and crawl like a desperate man. i walk the rain ...
- This song is deeply ingrained into d*s for me and was inspiration for a lot of imagery[especially the dreamscape(shown later lol)], so that is mostly why it is here.
15. "Yeneh Ababa [Rose]" **not listed T_T** lay yourself in my bed again, showered and covered in petals of red... are you lonely, are you lonely...?
- This is the Rylie/Kou song <3 *love them >>* Playlist.com didn't have it, so I will upload it later, but for now you can listen to the song on youtube if you feel so inclined.
16. "Of The Room" night falls, beneath candlelight, blue white squalls, beneath winter skies
- Good mood song. @_@
17. "All Of This Past" all of this dust, all of this past, all of this over and gone and never coming back... all of this forgotten, but not by me ...
- Mood and lyrics that fit waaaay too well. POV song for a chara not introduced yet.
18. "Once Upon Your Dead Body"do you remember why you did it? do you remember why she left? ... oh oh, i hope you die right now, will you drink my chemical? and if you cry out loud, it will only make me feel too good.
- 'Nother theme for a chara not in the story yet. sigh LOL
19. "Hate This And I'll Love You" so unafraid to die, cos i was born to destroy you...
- more music for laterrr @_@ damn all the good stuff happening later!!
20. "The Little Things Give You Away" don't wanna reach for me, do you? i mean nothing to you
- More later stuff. Sensing a water theme yet...? lol. Hmm. ;]
21. "MOYA"**EPIC VIOLINS AND GUITARS AND SHIT FOR 10+ MINUTES AEYEAEARARArrr**
- cos every soundtrack needs a background track. I chose this for the part from 3:45 and on tho [esp the epic build up @ 7:46 and release @ 8:28 lol ], so feel free to skip the very long into ahah. I should prolly make another playlist of just BGMs tho lol...cos I have a lot in mind :<
